EDUCATION Caltech graduate student Keith Brown describes the challenges and rewards of pursuing a career in computational science to a group of high school students at the March 1997 "Computers: The Machines, Science, People and Careers!" workshop. In this portion of the workshop, the full group of 130 students divided up into smaller groups for a "Round Robin: Along the Path to Success." They rotated around Caltech's Dabney Garden for 12-minute presentations by Caltech graduate students on their fields of study, how computers enhance their work, and what their career goals are.
