SPECIAL CRPC WORLD WIDE WEB ISSUE

As a nationwide consortium of universities, laboratories, and institutions, the CRPC is making extensive use of the World Wide Web to collaborate on research projects, implement and enhance parallel computing tools, develop Web-based technologies, and disseminate educational materials. Many of these projects are featured in this issue of Parallel Computing Research.

Although these pages highlight numerous CRPC Web-related projects, many others could not be included because of space constraints. For up-to- date information about all CRPC projects, see http://www.crpc.rice.edu/CRPC/. Future issues of Parallel Computing Research will also keep readers apprised of the newest developments in CRPC activity as the center continues to play a vital role in geographically distributed computing and collaboration on the Web.
