D System Documentation Available Online

CRPC researchers at Rice University are pleased to announce World Wide Web access to the D System documentation. The D System, a collection of tools that support the development, debugging, and performance tuning of data-parallel programs, grew out of the ARPA-funded "Tools for Machine- Independent Parallel Scientific Programming" effort. These tools bridge the semantic gap between the high-level code developed by the programmer and the explicitly parallel code executing on the underlying parallel machine.

Currently, general information about the D System is available via the URL http://www.cs.rice.edu/~dsystem/. Further documentation for the D System will be placed on the Web as it becomes available. For more information about the D System, contact dsystem-info@cs.rice.edu .
