The Center for Research in Parallel Computation (CRPC), North Carolina Supercomputing Center (NCSC) and the NSF Metacenter Regional Alliance are collaborating to provide curricular materials and training in the use of parallel programming tools and methods. These will be used by supercomputing staff, who regularly teach courses and training workshops to supercomputing users, and will be available electronically.

Materials on four parallel programming technology areas were presented at a workshop held April 10-12, 1995 at the Regional Training Center for Parallel Processing at the North Carolina Supercomputing Center. The topics were:

Lecture slides, labs, and other materials used in the workshop are available for use.

Another workshop is being planned for Spring 1996 to be held at Cornell Theory Center.
