EDUCATION Caltech graduate student Keith Brown describes the challenges and rewards of pursuing a career in computational science to a group of high school students at the March 1997 "Computers: The Machines, Science, People and Careers!" workshop. In this portion of the workshop, the full group of 130 students divided up into smaller groups for a "Round Robin: Along the Path to Success." They rotated around Caltech's Dabney Garden for 12-minute presentations by Caltech graduate students on their fields of study, how computers enhance their work, and what their career goals are. See "Caltech Workshop Inspires Students in Math and Science," page 10.
