Knowledge Transfer Information Now Available for NSF Science and Technology
Centers
The National Science Foundation has recently released a brochure on the
knowledge transfer activities of the Science and Technology Centers
(STCs). The CRPC is one of the 11 original STCs. The NSF established the
STC program to address important science and technology areas in basic
research, from astrophysics to storm modeling, from advanced cement-
based materials to computational geometry.
The brochure focuses on the many ways in the which the 25 STCs interact
with partners from universities, government, and industry through
research collaboration, technical workshops, corporate affiliates
programs, patent licensing, use of facilities, transfer of center
graduate students to industry, and other means.
